Cute masculinity announcement design!?
My boyfriend and I will find out what we are having on Thursday. We invited family to come with us, but everyone finished up wanting to be there and there is no way we can fit everyone surrounded by the room.
Instead, we decided to just go alone and to hold on to it a secret until the following night. On Friday, we'll do a dinner with adjectives of his and my family.
I was thinking I'd bake a cake near either pink or blue on the inside and have our moms cut into it at the end of dinner. I be wondering if there were any other cute ideas, for how to do revealing of the masculinity to everyone. I wish I had the time to bake individual cupcakes near those baby boy/girl figurines inside and make everyone bite into them at the same time.
I necessitate creative input here! We appreciate any ideas!

what nearly a twist on your idea?
bake a sheet cake and cut into little squares ( resembling 1x1 ) . Microwave icing so it is kind of runny and pour over the squares of colored cake. This will create little petit fours. Give each family branch a small box of the petit fours as they are leaving the dinner. When they get home they can bite into them and find out.
I hear of someone giving the ultrasound pic to their local baker and had them bake a white cake with any blue or pink food coloring. Then it's frosted with a big question mark on the top, and when you cut into the cake, you see what color it is!
Also, you can play a hobby - guys against girls (like baby pictonary or something - drawing all things "baby" ie, bottles, cribs, mobiles, etc). If the boys win, your husband gets to sympathetic this enormous cardboard box and if the girls win, you get to do it. In the box (the box has to be made by someone at your local carnival goods store) is filled with tons of any pink or blue helium balloons. They all fly out when you open it and surprise you!
Decorate you house next to the correct colors of flowers? Or send flowers to your closest friends.
Your cake idea is so cute! I would never suppose of something like that, do that it would be adorable.
I can't believe the stupidity of some hat posted comments to your interview. I was thinking cover the cake until after dinner and you and your boyfriend remove the cover together. have written on the cake " It's a ...! Congrats!!
That scan is not to allow you to have a happy gender-revealing party for adjectives the world. It is to determine whether your baby has any serious physical defects. A heartbeat doesn't be a sign of a darn thing. My friend's baby had a great heartbeat. The scan revealed she have anencephaly. She lived for two hours.
I hope your baby is just fine - but he/she might not be. The baby inside the party sitting next to you in the waiting room might not be. The person doing the scan might freshly have told a couple that their baby has died. It's a medical procedure. Please transport it seriously - or you will be in a far worse position to cope if there is a problem.
Seriously, how are you going to feel if something is wrong and you achieve home after some devastating news to all your "cute" gender revealing accepted wisdom, and to party plans you have to cancel? I can't regard of a better way to make yourself feel worse than you already would.
Answers: i love the pink or blue cake idea! i have be thinking about this too and i have a few ideas. i be thinking about having little cards and have for a time paint swatch(u know the things they have at wal-mart that are like a sample of the color and you can run home with you) inside that say "what do u think of this color for the nursery?"(it will be pink or blue) =D but idk im not remarkably creative lol...

btw: if you gross cupcakes just make sure you use a colored outside liner so they cant see the color of the cake through the liner and make sure the icing covers the full top. i wouldnt put anything in them tho just because it could be a possible "chip a tooth"or choking hazard lol.
