How much should I money a babysitter?
I say you should give her $40.

i'm a babysitter, and i love it, everytime i child sit i make between 7-10 an hour. i would say for a night close to that 40-50 should be good.
Try to ask the baby sitter again, if he or she still avoids the question. I feel $50 is more than tolerant. You are not breaking your wallet and the baby sitter is not even staying for a whole day.
$8 an hour sounds good to me.
I wouldnt budge under $7 or over $11.
