Anybody Else Have These Problems With Mirena?

Ok I had my Mirena put in on June 12th. I ahve not stopped bleeding or cramping since they put it in. I be told I'd bleed for a day or two and my periods would get terribly very light or go away adjectives together. The cramping was horrible before I got pregnant..They said it would single last a couple of hours..Not to mention I was told the odds of getting pregnant beside it in were 1 in 1,000...ok my aunt have had her Mirena for 3 months and just found out she is a month and a week pregnant. They can't even find hers to take it out...And my friend go to pee the other day and hers FELL OUT!! and i know 5 other people that have gotten pregnant next to this in...What Does This All Mean When They Say "Not Likely To Happen?"...Has anybody on here had any of these problems?
Answers:    Your doctor lied to you. :( Most women who have it inserted enjoy constant spotting for about 6 months, and THEN your cycle will get regulated and your period will more than plausible go away. (At the very least, it should be reduced to moderate spotting for a hours of daylight or two. That's how mine was.) My spotting would be a drop here and a drop there for a few days, then a hours of daylight or two with nothing, then some fatty spotting for a day or two, then nothing. It be VERY annoying! Once that stopped though, having my periods go from 7 days of hard to digest bleeding to 2 days of light spotting (most days I didn't need to use even a pantyliner!) was great. :) The drawback be that it caused me to gain 25 lb. over the course of the 18 months I had it; it made me incredibly moody and snappish, and it broke my face out horribly! My doctor pooh poohed this when I told him, but you know what? Within a week of have it removed, my skin was clearing up, my moodiness was going away, and I'd lost 5 lb.!

I've heard that the women who hold the most problem with it (as far as it falling out or embedding in the uterus) are women who haven't be pregnant before, and that's why it's not recommended for you unless you've had atleast one child.

Personally, I detested mine every minute it was inside me, and having it removed was a huge nouns! The only good thing going on for it (other than the light period) is that it is very effective. (And I'm a fertile myrtle). Two weeks after have it out (mid-March) I got pregnant. :)

Keep in mind though that spotting IS NORMAL AND EXPECTED for several months after having it put contained by. You could spot for 3 months or 12 months. The average is about six months though. I'm really surprised your doctor didn't tell you that. That's kind of sh*tty!
I have the mirena in for 3 years and i absolutly Loved it and My best friend has has hers contained by for almost 5 years and also loves it and neither of us have had any problems at all. My other friend get hers in last June after her 3rd baby and she told me she bled for in the order of 3 wks straight but then it stopped and she hasn't had any problems with it any. I did have one other friend who had one and she did get pregnant beside her 4th with it in but then she also get pregnant with her 5th after having her tubes tied and ended up have her woman parts removed, so i don't know maybe she was just extremly fertile. When you stir in to have it checked in a few weeks to kind sure the position is good if you haven't stopped bleeding i would ask about it.
