Baby clothes: to store or not to release?
I really feel like getting rid of the clothes that my daughter is outgrowing, even though I do plan on having more children (in 2-4 years). The piece is that we live in a small apartment now, not much space, not much money. I'd like to garage public sale these items, but I'm worried that I'll regret it later. The argument is that there will be more cute things when Baby 2 is born, no sense in taking up space. Also, we'll be moving to a different city; we may even move a couple of times.
Did you gather your baby clothes or get new ones (even secondhand hot ones)?
What's your advice to me?
I would say, keep the ones you really like. You may own a boy the next time around anyway. That's what I did with my first sons smallest clothes, kept my favorites and gave the rest to a friend.a month after that found out I was pregnant again lol...and I figured he was a boy and I be right.
My daughter has so various clothes that I have given a small amount to friends. I've also separated the neutrals so I can find them easily if we have a boy subsequent. My mom gave me some stuff that was mine when I was a tot, it was nice to have. Maybe save a few ticket items, first entity she came home in, first x-mas outfit, 1st b-day outfit.
But if you say you don't own a lot of money now I would keep as much as possible within those vacuum bags, they save a lot of space, if you hold another girl you don't want to go buying everything all over.
Answers: sell them pass them on what ever getting infant clothes is half the fun of having a baby :) besides you read out u dont ahve a lot of room so dont clutter ur space up with unnecesaries
i have 3 girls aged 9,3,1 i save my girls essentials(bibs singlets jumpsuits etc) and special outfits and gave the rest away to people who really needed them .you can also use a space saver pack that you can store a lot of stuff in and suck the air out near a vacuum cleaner
i am in alike boat. i saved all my daughter's clothes (she's now 2) and we finished up having a boy this time! i am still saving all the clothes from both of them, because we may own another in a few years, and my family is always growing beside nieces and nephews and my friends are having babies, so there will always be someone to distribute them to! you can always put them on craigslist or something if you end up not keeping them.
I would save them IF you have room, maybe resembling a storage or any extra space that they wouldn't be getting in the way.
But if your going to be moving and don't want kids for another 2 years I would probably get rid of them. But that's a moment ago me. Source(s): my opinion
