Babysitting for 12 year olds?
i really need to save up money for a car and collage. the just way i can think of earning money is babysitting. i wondered if anyone have any tips about: how much to charge, flyers or anything you can think of. i have experiance near my 1 year old cousin, ( babysitting him since he was first born), and my 3 year old cousin, ( since she be 1 ) so i have experiance with younger children.
Answers: No offense, but I would not trust my children with a 12 year frail. Wait until you're a little older to start babysitting.
I saved up profusely of money as a kid by doing yard work around my neighborhood. Stuff like mowing lawns, raking leaves (it's for a moment early for that), washing cars, weeding, etc. can produce you some good money. I was making about $200-400 a week mowing lawns within my neighborhood.
If you think about it, mowing a lawn take about an hour and I would charge $20-25 per lawn. That's like $20-25 per hour! I own a full time job now and make partially that.
You can also use your creativity and start making things such as bracelets, necklaces, paintings, drawings, tie-dye shirts, and other things to sell around your area. I'm sure profusely of adults would respect your enthusiasm and buy something from you if you sold them for cheap.
