Babysitting 4 kids ages 8 months- 10yrs.?
So I've been babysitting for a very long time now but i'm just about to face my biggest challenge yet. 4 kids. Ages- 8 months, 2 years, 6 years, and 10 years. I can knob the care part, but what about the playtime sector? What can I do to occupy the older ones and still have time for me to watch the younger ones but nonetheless still entertain all of them? Help please!

I tried to involve them all like playing ticket and house and even duck duck goose. If they are allowed you could let them have some time on the computer(I know they all love Webkinz). Also, they are probably used to not have all the attention because im sure there parents have indistinguishable problem. Have fun and good luck:)

I work as a counselor at a pre-school summer camp that runs the month of July and later of course I get baby-sitting jobs for August. I give my number to a father today who picked up his identical twin girls from camp. The mother who I've met a couple of times had a toddler boy yesterday and for the month of August, they will be needing some help. I was recommended by the guru and assistants because I am able to tell the girls apart and they talk to me while it take almost a whole school year for anyone else to get that done. Anyway when the mother have to shower and run quick errands and leaves the baby, I will be stuck with 2 two year olds and a newborn that wants care.
With the 8 month old, you can just hold him or her and play peek-a-boo or patty-cake. The 2 year mature also needs constant care so you could try doing a little mini gymnastics and stuff resembling that. The 6 year old and 10 year old will be much more active and want your attention the most believe it or not but try something outdoors if they own a yard. Also you can make a lst and have the elder 2 do a scavenger hunt and that will give you time with the 2 year old and 8 month dated. When the 2 year old and 8 month old go to bed, you enjoy more time with the 6 year old and 10 year old to do somewhat bit more grown up things.

I get there played for an hour then put the twins Jake and Noah to bed. Half an hour later, I put the 5 year dated Lily to bed and then about 45 minutes after that I put the 10 year old Evan to bed. It worked out spotless because I got to spend some extra time doing older things with Lily and Evan.
