My boss doesn't take why my miscarriage is making me upset!? How do i explain it to her?
I found out I've miscarried at 7 weeks. I still have to set up a d & c and I tried to explain to my boss that I'll be needing some time off. She assumes since it's a "day" surgery I'll be fine inwardly a day! how do i explain my emotional pain in need crossing the line?! This is making me frustrated and upset when i need to focus on other things:/
Wow,that's tough. Honestly when it comes to employers. I'd bring a doctor's note. But well. I don't think she will completely twig. You can't unless you've gone through it.
I completely sympathize with you! I had a miscarriage and a boss that didn't realize. She was infertile, so I thought she would have been a bit more compassionate, but she be a "career" person first and foremost.
I ended up quitting.
Answers: Wow. And it's a female? She must not enjoy ever experienced this. Pull her aside and tell her that it was a baby that you lost. A child is something important and you need more then merely a day to cope with it. Just tell her you are unbelievably upset over losing your child, and would like a couple of days to yourself.
wow!! your boss is very unsympathetic and i really feel for you right now. Sorry for your loss. I would take a doctors note and basically tell your boss you necessitate to take a few days off.
