What is wrong next to the tot?
my friend is in the hospital and she is pregnant she is 30 weeks and she tried to have the baby no prenatal trouble through this pregnancy her water broke and before her water broke she took laxatives.castor oil and other things to go into labor they didn't work then her water broke and she still is contained by the hospital her fluid is gone but the doctors want induce labor the baby is only 2lbs she thought she was 39 weeks but she wasn't she be only 30 social services came today and ask if she had a support group she told them my husband and i be her support group what is wrong with this picture why is CPS involved she doesn't use drugs to my knowledge what can be going on for CPS to become involved
First off, no prenatal care, that be stupid. Second, laxatives and castor oil to induce labor=dangerous!
That and the fact she had no clue she be only 30 weeks, sorry thats a pretty big mistake to make. Shes harmed her child. possibly inreverseably.
for starters, no prenatal care, second-she forced labor upon herself which is never a good theory considering the baby will come when it's ready, and for the fact that in recent times happened with her-you can never be sure how far along you really are unless you were TTC and know exact date. It sounds like she is careless and selfish, and should be investigated.
No prenatal care, for starters.
They need to do way instain mother> who kill thier babbys. becuse these babby cant frigth put a bet on it was on the news this mroing a mother in ar who have kill her three kids . they are taking the three babby back to new york too female to rest my pary are with the father who lost his chrilden ; i am truley sorry for your lots
CPS would be called if it seem like she's purposely trying to hurt her baby by going into premature labour. That's probably the lone reason why they're there. And how could your friend not know she was individual 39 weeks? The doctors usually check to see that way they can tell you around when you're due...
Well, She is taking measures to send herself into hasty labour.
She doesn't even know how many weeks she is.
Chances are she broke her own water.
I'm glad CAS is involves, and I hope they find that tot a safe home,
They could enjoy been called by an on-looker that may think that she cannot support a child, especially next to the bills that will be involved with the child being so small and having to be on support for a while. So, financial.
That seem like something more obvious if she is obviously not a drug user, because not have a support system with these kinds of issues could lead to a child that cannot be care for properly.
The baby isn't full term, that's what's wrong. Oh, and its mother is a moron.
Answers: Various agencies are alerted when a child is extremely early or of low birth weightiness - both are true in this situation.
When my twins were born - 10 weeks early and at 2 lb 6 and 3 lb 10, CPS interviewed us at the hospital and visit us several times at our home. They told us that the stresses related to having premature babies often led parents to slighting behavior - not because they were by nature "bad", just a recoil to stress.
However, in the case that you have given, this mother sounds as if she be really, really out of line. You don't mention a husband - in fact, you don't mention the father anyone involved at all. No prenatal care. Attempting to induce early labor. She have put her baby at terrible risk - based on her own stupidity. This sounds resembling an excellent reason for SOMEONE to pay special attention to the needs of the infant. After all, the mother didn't.
*she took laxatives..castor grease..and other things* may be a clue to why they feel she needs watching over.
Neglect. She should know how far along she is and taking laxatives to go into labor is irresponsible. This is really unfortunate. That poor babe-in-arms.
