At what age did you switch on toilet training your child?

What did you do? How long did it take before your child was short diapers day and night?

Answers:    I started at 2 1/2 and she was verbs and dry pretty much in a few days. My mom said that I was trained by 1 yr old, but I mull over thats a little young. Also, it depends on your child. If they want nothing to do near the potty, pushing them may hurt them in trying to go on the potty. Source(s): 2 years of no diapers!
