Who would be predictable to grasp custody of child?

I'm not married although in a relationship and I live with with my partner and we own just had a baby. I'm not bullish with the relationship and haven't been for a long time, to be honest I stayed with him because i get pregnant and thought i could make it work. We don't argue and both have a strong interest in our babe-in-arms but we are very different people in every respect and in that is absolutely no
passion between us. If we split up I know he would want custody and he is brilliant with the kid. Obviously this prospect scares me because I want to have custody. What happens contained by situations such as this when the couple is not married?
if u drink , or do anydrugs then he would mostlikely! but if not then yes shared custody is prolly what theyd do.
I believe she would turn to you unless the courts deemed you an unfit mother. Or, they'll split the time between the two of you so it's equal. I don't think it's fair to any of you to stay together of late for the sake of your child. Try talking to your partner and see where he stands, too. He may try to fight you for custody, but if you row back, you'll likely be granted custody. It would be nice if you two could work it out away from the court systems and just agree to lift your child separately.
File for custody before he does. But if he fight you on it, he will probably get at least get common custody. If he is a good dad and thats what he wants, the court will more than likely allow it.
You. Like the first 2 answerers said. Unless he wants to pocket you to court and fight for custody he would have to prove you unfit. Your thing be very brief...So I don't know if you are working but heres what I think...Whether you are working or not, File for Child Support... If you are worried that he will get custody in recent times because you live at your parents house, think again, just because you live in your parents house and you are on State Help, that doesn't fashion you an unfit parent.
The mother WIll especially get full custody of a child this young. Baby will need things that men will struggle to afford like breast feeding.

You both have to be sensible going on for this, put your differences aside and think of who is important and in the middle and that's a child.

A child requirements both there parents, if that is available. Allow for maximum access not once every month etc. I believe that there is room for a apt amount of access in the week and no parent should be in possession of the child. Share as much as you can.
since you aren't married they usually go for the mother unless they find the mother "unfit" which i dint think will be a problem for you. worst suitcase scenario, you will get joint custody.
Answers:    Courts usually favor the mother unless she is a druggie or a criminal or something like that.

Most likely you will get shared custody.
I think its unfair that the mother is most likely to receive custody of the child.
It should be based on who can give best to that child, and look after the child.

im glad my dad got custody of me nd my brother.

biddable luck
The mother gets custody but every second weekend the father gets the baby for the weekend. You can sort it out lacking going through courts if you both talk and agree what time eachother should see the child and that.
You would unless he can find proof that you shouldnt have full custody of the baby. Most likely you would achieve 50/50.
Courts really tend to favor the mother unless she can be proven to be unfit. You will more than likely have shared custody but with you have the bulk of it.
mother. unless the mother have no home, does drugs ect.
