What should I hold told my dad?
My parents decided to do a Barbeque and invited some of their friends.One of their friends is a mechanic and asked my dad if he needed some help fixing a part from the coupé.I went inside the house because I was talking beside my friends on Myspace.So dinner time comes around,and I go outside with my plate to get my rib and my dad tell,"Hold on a minute.Did you earn your rib?".I didnt know what to say.And he said it in front of everyone.So I put down the rib and my plate and went posterior inside the house.I feel really humiliated right now.Should I have said something?
He definitely wasnt joking.He said it in a serious manner.

What?! Ok, this question make no sense because you give no background info about yourself. Are you pregnant? Are you living at home for free and doing nought around the house to earn your keep? What's the deal?
My only request for information to you is, who the F88K eats ONE rib at a bbq?
I don't understand... you have to work for your food at a shindig.? And you only get ONE rib? I've never been to a BBQ similar to that before..
I don't know how you should have responded to that as I don't have a clue what the heck his point be... but I'm sorry, it sounded to me like he was just trying to be an asshole and poke fun at you. If you're embarrassed just get some food out of the fridge and say-so to hell with the party. It was crappy of him to kind a show of you like that. Otherwise, you will just have to facade the crowd and go back out to ask what his deal is...

Answers: Normally, I would say aloud "tell'em to kiss your azz."I wont be too quick to rush to judgement, because I dont know what kind of parensts you have or what giving person you are. Not saying you are, but I know that parents tend to act that approach towards their children when they think their children are lazy or something. And if you're just sitting around the house adjectives day, playing on the computer, and eating up everything then I can realize why they may think something like that. BUT, that I think its outta procession to embarass you like that. I would have got the rib and ate it anyway. How contained by the hell he's going to have a barbeque and feed his friends but cant even feed his child? Sorry, you have to go thru something like that. Parental embarassment is the worse kind. I dislike intensely to see or hear of a parent embarassing a child. The only time I think thats justifiable is when the child is making a scene within front of everybody and embarassing a parent. I'm one of those type of people who step up and say something to parents who try to embarass their children.
