How to know if you're pregnant on the pill?

I have been taking Loestrin 24 for almost a year now. I newly want to know how you would know if you are pregnant while you are on the pill. Will you still have your period during the inactive pills, or not? I'm curious and a short time worried. My husband and i have 2 kids that are close in age. Our son is 3 and our daughter is 1 and we aren't ready for another one and I am have pains in one of my breasts. That was the main purpose I knew I was pregnant with my kids. I muse i'm just freaking myself out, i just need to know if i would still own a period during the inactive pills even if I was pregnant. AND if i took a HPT would it bestow me a false positive since i'm on the pill? I"M CONFUSED!
Answers:    I became pregnant on the pill, I found out by missing "period." My pharmacist and OB said to always whip a test before starting the next month of pill if I have any doubts...when I missed day one, then day two, I go ahead and tested and BINGO. My son turned one in September, my hubby and I found we were pregnant in November, so I know how you are sensation...And, no, you won't get a false positive. Good luck...
