Bleeding contained by between period?

Okay so in May I had a missed period,and man sexually active at the time,after two weeks of not starting I took two pregnancy tests and each come back negative. I have have two completely normal periods since then,but within between I had some light bleeding. Me being the paranoid creature that I am,I took two more pregnancy tests,each coming back glum once again. I am confused as to why I did this?
Answers:    if you're young, your period might not be regular. if you've always be regular, you may have miscarried. going on a hormonal form of birth control might help. be sure to use more than just condoms, though. they really aren't 100% decisive.
