Baby shower for 3rd child?
A good friend of mine is due to have her 3rd child in a few months. She already have a boy and a girl who are both under 5. She also has tons of baby clothes, furniture, gear, etc. I haven't hear anyone have plans to throw her one yet and I'm kind of fixed on funds right now to do it myself. Is it still expected for her to have a shower?
I don't think it's expected, but it would be nice.
You could do a party where on earth everyone brings a frozen meal or diapers, or have a blessingway and celebrate the mom!
No it is definately not expected for anyone to throw her a shower. Most one and only have a shower with the first. And especially since she should already have everything later I would say a shower is not needed. I do feel adjectives babies should be celebrated. Why not see if a group of her friends and family just want to go out to lunch and to a movie beforehand the baby is born? That way it is more casual but you can toast to the tentative mom and the people coming could get her a little something if they required.
I wouldn't feel like you need to throw her a shower at adjectives.
Either bearing is fine. Its always nice to celebrate the pregnancy and baby. If you do throw one do a small one and merely have people bring diapers and wipes. Every mom wishes these also soaps, lotions, diaper rash cream are all excellent for a mom that has adjectives the other stuff.
Most people speak that another shower is not needed if the children are close in age, like not a huge age outlet. But then there are others that just resembling to throw one because it is fine. I had a baby shower with my daughter who is 9 immediately and one for my son that just turned 1. We are ttc #3 and I do not plan on having a shower with this one.
no, once you own a boy and girl you dont need any baby showers as she should have plenty and be covered on everything. i definatly wouldnt verbs about it. its not common after 1 boy and 1 girl to have another shower.
I guess it wouldn't be expected but it sure would be nice. I have a large family so when it get to the third child we start throwing diapers and formula showers. Just a party with potluck, some fun games, and everyone brings either diapers or formula.
Answers: She doesn't really need a shower. But if you would close to to have a gathering, maybe you could basically invite people over for a little get together and gladden people to bring premade dishes that can be frozen that she can heat up for meals for the family circle after the baby is born. Or a girls day out and get some gals together and thieve her for a little pampering...mani,pedi,facial that kind of stuff.
honestly- if she have everything i wouldnt. there would be no point- and some people think its a moment or two tacky if you throw another one- unless you are having a sex you have not have yet. so i would say- send a little card and payment and leave it at that.
Women dont' typically have showers for a 3rd baby, and you should feel lower than NO obligation to give her one. (If she's hinting, she's being gluey.)
No,not expected. The with the sole purpose time someone gets a second shower is if the sex of the baby is different than the first. I've never heard of a shower for a third child.
Instead of "baby shower" you could have the father have a diaper celebration. If you are unsure of what that is it is when the father has guys come over and hang out, play cards, etc. and to acquire in each guys has to bring a pack of diapers. The women could do a book of that by bringing formula. That way no one has to spend seriously of money to celebrate the baby.
No. But do either take her out for a nice girls night, or bestow up babysitting, or a nice frozen meal when the baby comes.
