If a woman name another man on Birth cert of ur child, can you contest it?
My ex decided to put her ex's name down as the father on my sons birth certificate. Can i still pursue a dna theory test through the courts?
She is convinced that by naming another man on the birth certificate she has essentially prevented any court from ruling that a dna test be done if she refuse it.

She's wrong. Go to a lawyer and have him discuss your option, but you can pursue this and the court can easily grant you a DNA test.

&& btw, the guy named on the BC would have to steep out appropriate paperwork to be placed on the BC if they werent legally married, stating that he acknowledges that he is the father and doesnt want a peternity test or doesn`t matter what.
