CAN ULTRASOUND BE WRONG?? PLEASE HELP ME!?
ok I don't really remember my last mentrual period but do know it was somewhere contained by may 10 & the 15th well Me & husband Concieved exactly on the 23rd of May, Yesterday I went to Hospital cause of niggle and they did an ultrasound and said my baby is 9weeks old and 1day, and that i conceived about 10 or 11 weeks ago. WHAT?!! that cannot be my husband get upset and was like it can't be and I know It cant be the Dr, said by the baby's measurements he's that old, I'm exceedingly confused! if I was 8weeks 1day then I would of conceived when I'm saying since it be the day I had relations unprotected not any afternoon before since husband was working out of state, The truth is my husband is now inquisitive me like crazy and make assumptions I'm devastated cause he truism I cheated & that I need to not keep it since he don't believe it's his, PLEASE TELL THEY CAN BE WRONG! help.. :( =( truly devastated!
dont let your husband force you to not preserve
your baby. its your body who has the child &
not his. you are the one who will be going trough
everything, not him. doctors can sometimes
be wrong. either that, or you in recent times have a big
baby, which is not a bad entity.
some men do freak out over these kind of things
and that's normal. just explain to him that the
doctors' information can be unfolding them that they
just have a big, healthy toddler. don't not keep your
baby because of the assumptions made by your
husband. if he really loves you, he will let you
hold on to the baby that is rightfully yours. also, if he
really loves you, he wouldn't think that you be
cheating. just explain this to your husband. dont
worry, the baby is yours to preserve. Congratulations and good luck:)
Dating a pregnancy during the first trimester (especially in the early, untimely stages) is very accurate, although they can be off by +/- 3 days in any direction. You could have also ovulated late. Are you SURE you conceived on the 23, or are you just assuming you ovulated afterwards because it was mid-cycle?
Tell your husband to chill out. Unless you've given him reason to accuse (cheated on him surrounded by the past) then he needs to stop being such a push. >:-(
course they can be wrong hun, u know doctors they can other get things wrong, they tell u its a boy and its a girl, they tell u child will be born on this date and they never are..good luck to u n hubby
The doctor probably purely meant you were measuring ahead, plan the baby is just big. I measured 2 weeks ahead my entire pregnancy on the ultrasound. If you didn't cheat on your husband, then this is most without doubt what's happening.
I say they are right, but all that means is that you have unprotected sex, and it took a few days for you to conceive, not everyine gets pregnant right after sex it can take up to 6 days for the sperm to make it to the egg and graft itself, dont worry, everything is fine, its his baby and you're right where you should be.
Yes, for both my babies the ultrasound other put my conception date at a time I know I didn't have sex.
Don't worry... If you only have sex withyour hobby the baby is his...
Ultrasounds only give an Edd or estimated due date
Answers: I've be measuring 5 days further along than what my expected due date is. Just because you had unprotected sex on the 23rd doesn't mean to be precise the day you ovulated. Due dates are usually wrong and ultrasounds can be off by a few days as very well. Your husband is being an asshole for even thinking that you cheated.
Also, if you conceived 10 or 11 weeks ago, then your baby would method further than 9 weeks and 1 day. Due dates are based on your ultimate menstral period, not the day you conceived. Therefore, if you conceived 10 or 11 weeks ago, your baby would in actuality measure 12 or 13 weeks along. If you are measuring 9 weeks, then you most expected conceived approximately 7 weeks ago. I'm not sure what the hell your doctor is talking about. Source(s): Mommy to an almost 2 year old and 33 weeks next to baby #2.

Make sure that your husband is told by the doctor how accurate the measurements are which is plus or minus 2 weeks same as the weight, plus or minus 2 pounds. So you are anywhere from 7wks 1 day to 11 wks 1 sunshine. Later in the pregnancy, you will hear all kinds of things approaching at 34 weeks, head is 42 weeks, legs are 30 wks, abdomen measuring 36 wks
