My wife is pregnant near our third child and showing already at 8 weeks?
it doesn't bother me in the slightest, i think she looks great pregnant, but she refuses to wear parenthood clothes, as she says its too early she is also worried because we wanted to loaf until 12 weeks to tell every one which is looking like less of an prospect by the day, she is 8 weeks,
she says that the bean hasn't even made it above the pubic bone yet and shes basically getting fat and its really upsetting her any of your experiences or advice would be welcome appreciation
PFF... you gotta be outta your mind to believe that a baby will show at 8 weeks along.. You're right about mentioning the word, "Bean" because a babe at 8 weeks along is smaller than that, even smaller than a peice of rice!

It is normal..its cause by bloating, very common in pregnancy. I am going through matching thing at the moment..Im only 6 weeks and I cant do any of my pants up anymore. I go out and bought a few pairs of tights and pretty long tops (kinda in fashion where I live anyways) even tho they arent exactly parenthood clothes they are really comfy and have room for more growing.

I was convinced that I, too, was showing at 8 weeks (I'm 15 weeks preg. next to #3), but your wife is correct--the uterus doesn't start to grow up and out until 12/13 weeks. If her clothes are getting snug, she can do the rubber band trick (looping it through a button hole, then stretching the rubber band around to hook on the button). I can particularly understand her not wanting to wear them yet. She's still early (and not bygone the danger zone yet), and probably doesnt' want to tell anyone in bag of miscarriage. She probably doesn't want to spend a ton of money on maternity clothes (if, God forbid, something happens and she loses the baby).
Don't worry--if she's anything at all approaching me, she'll think she's showing one day, then when she get to abotu 14 weeks (give or take a few days) her belly will pop out overnight and she'll HAVE to wear maternity clothes. :)
does sound approaching bloating. I am 7 weeks pregnant with second child and am bloated and it looks like i'm 2-3 months. + old first child is individual 6 1/2 month's old so still have some baby substance from him.
