I'm Black Curious to See if My Child Will hold green eyes?
I know my question sounds very weird but any ways. I'm 15 by the mode a question just popped into my head and i be just curious to ask. Well i am African American and my Great Grandmother is about the color of jenifer lopez or london lauren and she has green eyes. Every one say she's not mixed so i guess she's not. Well her grandson my dad is like a Chocolate brown and i guess you can say i am to i'm like a flushed brown my mom calls me mahogany sometimes. lol. well i have a boy friend and he's a red bone as you would hail as it in the black community and we were just conversation about what our kids would look like in the adjectives like a good 10 years from now because i'm 16 and he's 17 but anyways i be just curious is their any chance that out kid would have green eyes approaching my great grandmother? and what do you think my great grandmother is? or mixed with? also what are the chances of me have twins? my boyfriend says it runs in his family but just in the women but it doesn't run in mine.
Answers: There is always a break as long as ur future husband has green eyes somewhere in his inherited. I got red hair and blue eyes (my parents and 3 out of 4 of my grandparents have brown curls brown eyes) from my grandmother on one side, and my great-grandmother on the other. You never know if those genes are passed on.
Does he or anyone in his family have green eyes? If so it's possible, but similar to anything else don't count on it. Brown is dominant, and more likely to happen.
Twins are about 1/50 haphazard of happening.
