Coil and confussion .?
hello all
me and my partner are trying for baby no 2 and so on the 16th june 2009 i had my coil removed...
my spell was due on the 3rd july and i never got my period
im in a minute 4days late and have done a test which come back negative
so what i was wondering be is there anyone out there that has have a coil removed and did it affect your period ie make it late or un-usual
do u construe im late due to the coil being removed
oh yes sorry it might help if i told u adjectives what type of coild i had.
it was the copper coil (the one without hormone)
no coil no protection so it cud begin any time as you have a coil because there is no hormones involved
Id say you havent had it out long satisfactory yet to be ovulating correctly, not saying its impossible but when stopping any form of irth control other then condoms it can usually pilfer some time before you are able to get pregnant. Good Luck :)
Answers: When I have my coil removed (which was the same as yours no hormone), my periods be mucked up for a couple of months.
More heavy bleeding than anything.
Back to normal now, confer yourself time.
Good luck with having a new newborn. Hope it all works out.
I had my Mirena removed on March 13 (mid-cycle) and bled the subsequent day for about 4 days. I was expecting my time on March 27, but it never came. I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant. :) My doctor told me that the stress of having it removed (it wasn't painful, but it be how my body reacted to it not being there anymore) threw my cycle stale schedule. I actually didn't ovulate that cycle, and since I bled immediately after removal, I skipped my spell that month. I did ovulate mid-April, and that's when I conceived.
I also had the ParaGard (copper) several years ago, but when I had it removed, I did so because of heavy periods--not because I be trying to get pregnant. From what I remember, my periods stayed the same after the ParaGard be removed.
