After 4 girls,be finally have a boy,could your Dr. be positive at 16 weeks? I am terrified to seize to excited?
We went to the Dr. at 16 weeks and got an ultrasound. They said looks like a boy,but im worried to get to excited. Are they usually pretty right at 16 weeks?? We have 4 girls and this did look different.

Ok, the way I found out I be having my daughter, Bailey was when I had my ultrasound, be we were looking at the screen and "it" looked like a butterfly, and she told me I am have a girl.
And then she said, "you know when you are having a boy? and what it looks like if you be?" and I said "no", what does "it" look like? And she said if I was having a boy, "it" would look resembling a turtle!!
So, if your doctor and you saw a "turtle", then congrats, you are having a boy!!

Answers: Now and days u/s machines are more sophisticated than they were lately 5 years ago and they have such an increased amount of detail. My doctor said he could usually tell the gender tardy in the 12th week. He looked when I was 12 weeks and couldnt tell, but he looked 2 weeks following when I was 14 weeks and could see clearly. On the u/s pictures the girls looked different from the boy, you can see a definite protrusion and on girls you can't.
I have a soaring risk pregnancy and have not went more than 3 weeks with out an u/s this unharmed pregnancy and EVERY time since I found out they tell me the same thing- 2 girls and 1 boy.
SO my point, yes they can tell that impulsive, I think you are safe to get excited! Usually if they create a mistake they say girl and its a boy, not the other way around.
it's easier to report if it's a boy, but yeah i would look again seen as though your only 16 weeks along. its kind of unnatural im having a girl after 4 boys lol!!
I'm a fair believer in audible range it confirmed on the next appointment before I'd go out and buy anything.
If you had 4 boys and a possible girl, I would say hold off on the pink. But if they vote he was showing off, you are definitely have a boy. Congrats!
