Quick Question for adjectives The Mommies!?
What were you doing when your water broke? I was reading the What to Expect When You Are Expecting book and the member about the lady carrying a pickle jar around in armour her water broke in a very public place. It made me want to ask you girls this question(s).
1.What be you doing when your water broke?
i'm 32 weeks (33 weeks on Tuesday) and I hope that my water breaks at home. lol.

I've had four children and my water never broke until I was at the hospital and *well* into labor. Actually it one and only broke once before I was ready to push.
It only just isn't something I've ever had to worry about and if I be you I wouldn't worry either!
I enjoy 2 children and my water broke for both of them at my house. My first daughter, Story, was 2 weeks early and my hose down broke on the sofa. My second daughter, Adelyn, was a week early and my water broke contained by my sleep at around 3am.
My water other broke at home. With my first baby it broke while I was sitting on my couch watching TV. I had freshly gotten out of the bath.
Mine broke at 36 weeks at home- 20mins after sex at 4am...
I had purely gotten into bed when i thought i'd missed some semen so i jumped out of bed to clean up again got roughly a metre away from my bed and gush. i was holding my daughter 2 hours later =]
I WAS NEVER PREGNANT
I was running up a mount to try and put my self into labor..hahaha

1st on on christmas year at my mum's house 2nd at home just after the hubby n i had 'some alone time' lolz. Good luck

Answers: Well probability are you are in the hospital when your water breaks. Only 1 in every 5 women hold it break before active labor.
I was one if the 1 surrounded by 5. I just layed down for a rest and felt a gush. I just run to the bathroom. I had to change, but no jar was needed. Just be prepared for the trickle, keep hold of a pad with you if you leave the house!
