Stalking my kids? PLEASE HELP US!!?
Alright i know this is crazy but please listen to this. We have 5 little boys that range in age from 10 to 2. We live surrounded by a very private area, and live on a dead close road. For the past 3 weeks this really odd man has be riding his bike by our home starring at our kids. When he gets to the dead end, he get off his bike, puts his hands behind his wager on and looks at the highway (away from our house) and as he is doing this he just keeps glancing put money on, almost like hes trying to lure the kids out to ride bike with him, talk to him, doesn`t matter what. When the kids are not outside we have watched him just turn around at the closing and leave. When they are outside he will just keep coming by the house. We own tried to ask him where he is from and he just says "from around the area" we enjoy called the cops 3 times and get no answers. I dont think they are concerned as long as nought has happened. What do they wait for something to transpire? We also have a neighbor girl who lives about 4 blocks away and her parents are pretty worthless. She is usually here all sunshine and into the evening until we send her home. Anyways one time she was here and she started heading home and as soon as she left this man get on his bike and followed her home, by husband then caught up with her and walk her all the way home to make sure she get home safe. I am terrified of this man as he just stares every time he go by, the kids have a trampoline on the side of the house and lastnight he went by here and the kids were contained by bed, and we watched him stop and he was trying to look into the yard from the street and kept looking around, almost close to he was looking for them. We do not know what else to do or where to turn. The cops made ONE report out of the 3 times we called, and we never hear back from them, they said they would get into touch with us when they "located" him even though my sister contained by law followed him to see where he stopped, they were suppost to grasp back to us and let us know if he was a registered sex criminal or if he is safe or what, and no call no stop nothing. Ive tried to call upon and see what was ever found out, and nothing i do not know what else to do. now tonight we be gone to baseball games and as soon as we got home a truck drove by and stopped at the dead end, another man get out and got into another parked truck on the dead end and started to drive, i be standing at the end of the driveway and he proceeded to stop right infront of me, and started to dig around like he be looking for something, looked at me and then drove off. After this happened i call my sister in law, i didnt say anything except the darkness you followed the guy on the bike what did the guys on the porch look like (there were two men outside and the guy on the bike was talkin to them) explicitly ALL i said to her, and she described these two guys exactly as i would describe the two that were out here this evening. what do we do? We have talked to our children something like strangers and to never talk to these guys, to come tell us everytime they see them ect. BUT how many more times do we telephone the cops? If they arent doing anything about it, im scared it might irritate these guys more and cause bigger problems what do we do? We enjoy checked our local sex offender web site and it ONLY lists dignified risk and lifetime offenders, NOT low or moderate offenders!!
Wow to be precise scary. Get an alarm for your house, if you don't already have one, with plentifully of yard signs. Talk to your husband about maybe you and he getting a gun each(with permits) and study how to use them. Call the cops when you feel threatened. It's what they're there for. If you have a camera, attain pics of the guys, without them knowing(from inside your home). If the neighbor girl wants to come over, pick her up and drop her off. Always progress outside with your kids. You and your husband might want to get the cops over when the men are there and ask them, beside the cops there what are they doing. Definitely tell your kids not to go outside alone. Always near someone, preferably an adult, until this gets settled. Keep your eyes and ears open! Although the threat that your husband made was "unnecisary", he had to be warned (since the cops won't do shi t)
There is zilch you can do except keep a eye on your kids and let them know to never talk to those guys no issue what they say or do, that anything they say will be nothing but lies.If they do try to lug any of the kids, tell the kids to bite, scream, rip out a eyeball WHATEVER they have to do contained by order to get away.
I would also install video cameras pointing out in front of the property (or at most minuscule, fake ones)

my advice to you is hold on to a journal of any thing and every thing everything he say to you or the kids and write down the times you see him or your kids see him (like 530 ..stopped at dead end.) write down what he was doing and so forth and markedly try to get him on camera and keep filing police reports the more daily trail you have behind him the better ! i wish you the best of luck ! i would also (if you already havent ) i would make conversation to all your kids and tell them what to do if a stranger approaches them and so on and so forth ) Dont give up!
Its terrible that the police aren't doing anything about this. You should get hold of some solid evidence on your own and get enough that the police can't ignore it. Go out and discuss to the guy and ask him questions like what hes doing on that road, if hes looking for someone in fastidious, stuff like that. If he claims just to be taking a pleasant bike ride or out for a casual stroll, inform him contained by a calm manner that your road is a dead downfall and that theres really not anything for him to see on your road. He will probably act dumb and pretend like he didn't know anything going on for where the road goes. If he comes back again scrutinize him but don't act suspicious. It sounds stupid but let your kids out and you could hide at the rear a tree or a bush in the yard and just see what he does. If he newly stares, go out from your hiding place and ask him calmly if he desires anything and if he says no, explain to him that you don't like it when people run close to your property and you would like him to leave. If he starts to talk to your kids, listen to what he have to say but then explain in a firm tone that the kids are irrelevant to talk to strangers and you would like him to stay away from your property. If he goes onto your property at adjectives intervene imediately and tell him to leave. If he speaks to your children or goes onto your property, progress to the police station, don't call because if you go, they can't turn you down. If the police continue to pay no attention to you, try filing a restraining order or maybe you vould return with a sucurity system or camera. Or if you don't want to go that far, post up some of those private property signs all over so he has no excuse for ever going on your property. Make sure you lock adjectives your doors and windows at night and when you leave the house within case he wants to steal something. Be really careful and constraint that the police help you, don't leave the station until you get what you obligation. Don't take no for an answer and don't wait for something bad to come up, prevent it from happening in the first place. Good luck!

You might want to invest surrounded by a fence/gate possibly one with some type of security code or something. I cant believe the police aren't doing anything!

You should call the cops EVERY time he appears. Insist they gross a report. Soon they will be forced to do something. Go into the station house and complain. Take pictures from inside at first of his activities and actions. Take a lot of pictures. Take some where on earth he can see you taking them. Maybe that will scare him away.
Go to Watchdog.com they own a list of ALL sex offenders in your nouns. They list the address and everything. If the cops aren't responding how you want go down to the station and ask to see a list of offender. They have to show you it is the law. If he is one of them tell them what he is doing, near has got to be something they will do. I would start taking pictures of them. Scare them bad. I would also never let my children out alone, which I am sure you don't. If they are registered make copies and post them everywhere in your neighborhood. It is completely legally recognized and if he is riding a bike he will see them. Hopefully they take action before something discouraging happens and it is too late. Good luck!!
