Babysitting guidance? Kid won't stop screaming for me?
So I'm babysitting this little girl, and we were playing around, when all of the sudden she full out slapped me on the face. I took her paw and looked her square in the eye and told her No. Dont Slap. so then she got upset and started throwing a bad feeling tantrum. She went and cried on the ground so i tried to ignore her. I went and sit on the couch, then she started screaming my name telling me she looked-for me to come and get her. and i told her if she didnt stop i was going to put her in her room. So as you would expect she didnt stop and she's in her room. She's been screaming for me for the past hour and a partly. I'm getting sick of it but i don't want to give in. Her mom says she like to be in control so i'm trying not to give her the control. What do i do? I don't want the parents to come home to a screaming child. That's not good for my rep :/

You did the right thing by punishing her mildly. Yes that is a bad rep but honestly if I be your age I wouldn't know what to do. Keep her in her room for a couple more minutes. Hold her and rock her and try to quiet her down. Just relax with her and help yourself to her downstairs and turn on the TV and get her mind of it. Sit her on your lap and tell her to be barely audible please in a calm tone. Hopefully she'll stop the screaming. Good for you to tell her no slapping. If the screaming won't stop firmly enlighten her again square in the eye that she has be quiet or you'll hold to talk to her mom and dad. I'll be praying for you! Best of luck! I would to tell her that you wanna have a fun time for the rest of the hours of darkness but you can't have fun with her if shes screaming.
Tell her that once she is nice and calm you hold a really fun game for her to play with you.
Once she calms down, play a cool activity.
