Baby not growing,still gain mass?
i'm 35 weeks with my 3rd child, i'm almost 5 weeks behind in growth, i enjoy been measuring 30 weeks but i gained 5 pounds since the ending appt.they said the baby has seemed to stop growing, but but i still put i put on weight? how is the baby not growing?...sorry if this doesn't read right,i'm so upset and scared,the doc ordered a u/s plus 2 non stress tryout a week,but the baby moves all the time,i just don't go and get it...the doc i saw wasn't my normal doc i had never seen him previously,so he knows nothing about me or the reality that i'm still trying to put on the weight lost from being sick, i started at 135,got done to 110 but in a minute weigh 133, isee my reg doc on friday,i just hope someone can ease my mind til then..thank you!
Answers: I wouldn't verbs to much yet. Wait till you talk to your normal doctor on friday in the past you stress out to much. The weight gain could be from just you gaining the bulk back, which means that you are replenishing what you lost, and your not sick anymore so the weight is staying on not disappearing. Honey, try to relax..I fully understand how you must be sick with worry, but that's not going to do you or your babe any good.
The weight you are gaining may very well be your own body weight that you lost due to morning sickness, but that's NOT to say there is anything wrong near your baby.
My friend recently had a babe-in-arms, she didn't find out she was pregnant until 6.5 months, and she had been drinking almost every weekend until that point.
Basically, the doctors warn her at week 35 that her baby was going to be small, and he was born, on form, at week 40, weighing 7lbs 4oz.
Sometimes, the signs don't add up to what is actually up in your belly.
Keep up the regular doctor visits, keep intake right and resting and try not to worry.
