Baby's final dub and custody?

I am married but my husband left me when I was pregnant and did not pay a entity, so at the hospital I gave the baby my last moniker and refused to give info about the father. I still insisted on him assemblage the baby but he would just answer "have fitting luck", I even told him to recognize his child and he told me to talk to his atty. Suddenly I get served next to DNA testing and stuff before the divorce. I did the DNA and it was his child. Now he have to recognize him and pay child support. He told the atty I would not allow him to see the baby and some other lies. I don't mind him self in the certificate, but his atty says to be precise he wants to he can claim his right for the baby to have his later name and not mine. Is this true or can I fight for the baby to hold on to my last name (he will still be listed as the father) and how does custody works if the toddler is a few months old. Can I move to another state or city? We are from FL.
Apparently, your hospital didn't transmit you the rules. Whether the baby was his or not, by law you are supposed to put the husband down on the permit. The last name can be whatever you want. A peacemaker can choose to change it, but most of the time they don't.
You can step to another city, but moving to another state in the middle of a custody battle is illegal as far as I know.

Since he didn't want to sanction the child as his to begin with, he can't really expect you to change the baby's final name and the fact that your baby have your last name doesn't change the certainty that he has to pay child support. Talk to your attorney about this and argument for it. Don't just give in.
Answers:    He can't literally force you to change the baby's last given name, nor can he just up and come like that if what you are saying is true. If it shows that you hold NOT been forcing him to stay away from the baby, then you're ok. The reason being is because he won't have custody. It sounds like he requests some mental help, because I can't fathom how any parent mother or father can just get up and totter out on their child like that. What you can do though is get married to someone that you know will love you and your baby, and he can adopt the toddler and he could have that last name. I would suggest moving out of Florida anyway for two reason. One reason being that as long as the father is in Florida too, he can possibly motivation a bunch of unnecessary drama and try to harass you. Second reason is because Florida has one of the worst tuition systems in the whole country. Plus it sounds like you inevitability to start a whole new life for you and your son. Get yourself a great attorney by the approach. I know I'm all over the place in this answer, but that is my two cents.
