Could Ella be a handle for Lorelai?
I know it is stretching it a little, but I LOVE both of those names and I was wondering if Ella could be a label for Lorelai?
LorELAi? It doesn't sound like Ella when you pronounce it, but it is in in attendance... could it work?
Thanks!
I think... that may be Pushing it...but... maybe Elli... but even that it... I ruminate nicknames are like Lila (maybe) and Lori... I perosnally like Ella better after Lorelai... but your baby! Congrats! Best fo Wishes and good luck!
I bet it could. But I don't like it. I would rather enjoy Ella as the name.
Congrats on the quads!!

gilmore girls os the worst show over
dont term a girl anything near them!
but no it cant
It works. If you love both name, I say go for it! I also think Ella could be a appellation for Delaney, which you also mentioned you liked.
I do love it; ella and lorelai is beautiful.
Other nicknames: Lori, Laura, Lauren, Loni, Leah
Just possibilities
It definitely works!
But REMEMBER...when she get older, others may call her the more obvious label - Lorie. At the end of the name, she chooses her nickname, and may not dance by the nickname "Ella".
Ella? Not really. Ellai? Probably. If you want that nickname then choose a describe with Ella in it. Source(s): LIfe
My daughters middle name is Isabella.
I conjecture it could. They arent too far off.
They are both very pretty names by the bearing! :)
God Bless!

Answers: I'm gonna go with no on this one... Ella is it's own name- I don't feel it's a slash name, and Lorelai is it's own name even thogugh ela is there- I just don't expect it swings. Why not just name the baby Ella? Or spawn her middle name Ella and call her by it? I think of gash names as encompassing the first or last syllable of a name- like Lor, Lora, or picking up on a push button part of the name and repeating... for example Li li for Lorelai... Ella is a beautiful heading though- roots in French, Spanish and English... Good luck!
Sure can!
I love the nickname Rory, individually.
Anything can be a nickname for anything - but that isn't an obvious shortening.
If you're going to bid her Ella, why not name her Ella?
yh course it could. My son is called Josiah and is nicknamed Mogie : s absoloutly nothing alike! lol
no.
I think it can be.
Hope I helped! :)
