Ive always loved the name Carly...but i prefer it spelled Karli.

I think Karli is cute, but it sounds for a moment more like a nickname than a full name. Also, do you want your daughter to grow up and be considered "cute" as an mature or "mature." I would use it as a nickname for something else like Karlotta, Karlina, Karoline.

I like it, especially spelled Karli. However, the problem is going to be that that is a VERY popular name right in a minute, and she may have several others in her class at school. I work beside an entire school full of kids, and that is a very popular identify at my school.

I wouldn't spell it Karli though. I think names that winding up in "i" when they usually end in "y" look misspelled and approaching you tried to hard to be unique.
