Anyone else really frusturated of ethnic group who insult your babies name?
I picked the name Camilla Adrienne for my daughter and my mother absolutely HATED the name!
I show hate with PASSION!
I started crying, I mean, she be so mean about it!
No one knew my babies identify because I finally picked it at the last minute!
My mom hated it =[
What should I do?
I love my mom, and she's the type of mother who's supportive no matter what, so I know that she REALLY despicable it if she actually spoke out about it!

How awful for you! I cogitate people should just keep their mouths shut if they don't enjoy anything nice to say - they're your children and you get to choose names. I love the name you've picked - Camilla Adrienne is especially gorgeous.
I once got a comment from a sort-of friend that our kids have old race names (James, Leona and Adele)! That annoyed me, but then I realized that her kids have stupid, trendy, names (but I didn't say that out loud) and felt better.

if you carried the baby for 9 months you get to choose the name if someone hate it then tell em to screw off because its your tot you are the mother you will be closer to the kid than anyone else and its your right to choose the name you want to choose. if you mom dosent like the name enlighten her it is not her problem because she dident have to carry it for 9 months and give birth to the little one.

In terms of people on here I reckon if you ask for an opinion you should find one but family wise they should be honest to a certain scope but not in a harsh way.

I'd consent to her know how much it hurts you. She might just think you're throwing ideas at her and she's recitation you how she feels about it. she may not understand how much you love the mark. The point is that it is up to you and the father to choose the names, and not for other people to criticise.
I think it's better if culture don't tell you if they don't like the names you own chosen - they can keep that to themselves.

Yeah, whenever I update my mother a new name I like, it's other a wild card. Sometimes she hates it and sometimes she loves it. If she hates it, I usually try to modify it, but if there's a heading I adore, I tell her tough, since me and my hubby agree on it. Maybe that's what you're gonna end up having to do if you love the dub (I love it... it's very pretty). But it'll still suck knowing your mom hates your daughters name.
it doesnt matter what they think...its your babe-in-arms and your going to be her mother for the rest of your life. if your mom or aunt dont like it then thats their failure. i names my first daughter Jasmine Skye and my autie hates the middle name...my daughter thats on the mode is going to be called Ava Sophia and if people dont like it.i dont consideration. Its my baby and its my choice

My cousin gave her son the nickname "Reef" and i didn't particularly like it. Well now he couldn't hold any other name cause he's just Reef and it suits him so much.
Screw what they conjecture, if they love you and your daughters then they should respect your choice and embrace the little girls who are named Camilla and Madelyn.
