Nathaniel Scott as a boys moniker?
Personally I don't like the name Nathaniel, I think it's nerdy. But I guess it can be regal/sophisticated (i.e. Nathaniel Hawthorne). I don't similar to it much but the wife adores it. Nathan as nickname is not bad, and he'd probably step by that. Any comments?

But I think you and your wife should decide on your childs nickname. Not just her. Tell her you don't like the name and make clear to you want to get some more ideas before in fact deciding on that name.

It's a nice, strong heading that flows well. I like Nathaniel and Nathan better than Nate. I don't think of Nathaniel as a nerdy identify at all.

It seems a bit unfair that you don't get more say contained by your childs name. Why don't you guys find a name you BOTH like. I suggest purchasing a infant name book or searching thru baby first name websites together. My favorite one is babynamesworld.com. I think you may find it very helpful.
