What do you give attention to of the christen October?

I like it. It is one of those names I wouldn't really use but like. How going on for you.
What gender do you think it goes beside?
I say a boy lol.

A possible nickname could be: Toby
that would be an awesome name. and yes, i agree it would walk better with a boy.
I love the underused month names like January and October and December. I have a penpal from Germany and his given name is Oktober (German version of October). His nickname is Ox or Otto.

I think it would progress good as boy or a girl name because for a guy, it'd be masculine and for a girl, it could be feminine but not within a classic, normal way.

You'd have to hold a good middle name to go beside it. Like October Marie for a girl and October James for a boy.
I don't think that a boy or a girl would appreciate have that for a name. Toby, to me, is a better name for a puppy. Think about it...would a grown man really close to to be called Toby (it is a bit like Skippy...more puppy-like)
It's ok, it's kinda cute, but not really my taste in names. And yea i right to be heard boy too.

And i think Toby would be an adorbale nickname for it, :D.

Sunshine - i know a grown man named Toby and he loves it, okay he's real name is Tobias, but he much prefers going by Toby.
Well the good thing is you wrote you wouldn't really use it, that's a big nouns.
Well I always like Winter or Wynter. But yes October is a very unique name, I approaching it, also Toby is cool. I think months of the year are more womanly then manly.
I don't like it for a name.=)
Reminds me of Halloween but its incomparable and oddly i like it!!

Leaves them open to bullying surrounded by October.

I saw this name once, for a girl, in (I think) an Enyd Blighton book.
Its resembling naming your kid January. Who the hell does that? I feel bad for that kid already.
Answers:    I actually really resembling that name. It invokes images of October for me... you know, the fun of Halloween, autumn nights, the smell of crisp nouns... I like it a lot. I picture it as the name for a girl, though. I might in actual fact have to name a little girl that sooner or later.
I like it, it sounds mode of mysterious and down to earth, but i think its better for a girl though
I think it's a great name for a month, but an unfortunate mark for a child. It reminds me of halloween and I wonder why that particular month is important to you. I went to institution with a girl who's middle name was December. December be 9 months prior to her birth month. Yes, it was very disturbing. So if October has any significance close to that to your baby-to-be, stay away from it!!
Reminds me of Halloween instantly.

No.
That definitely seem more of a girl name. I like it for a girl, it's really unique. It have always been on my list of favorites.
I like it actually..
I see it as a girl name though.
August is nice for a boy.
:)
Unlike most of the individuals who answered, I like it. A little weird, but it sounds nice. Definitely for a girl.
I like it for a middle name, but not really for a first designation. But maybe for a first name if you called him Toby...
hell no thats a month you idiot!
First thought was halloween, could be use for a pet. I read out boy.
My friend's daughter's baptize is September - they could hook up and have a November. :-)
i dont like it and girl
i think one and only certain month and season names work and this one just doesn't work for me :/
That's a month, not a christen. Don't do that to a child.
