I LIKE uniquely spelled name, so...?

i like
Mahlie Jazmyn
and
Dahleah Alyce

what unique names do YOU similar to?
I don't like unique name, sorry. The names you have picked all nouns sort of like strippers, lol. And the way you have so plentiful "y's" in them makes them look cheap.

Your kids are going to grow up so ticked off becuase they're CONSTANTLY going to own to spell their names for people. I had a totally NON-unusual maiden mark (Brent), and I was *constantly* being asked how to spell it. "Is that Brant? Brink? Brunt?" You can only create in your mind what your daughter will go through with a name similar to Dahleah or Mahlie.
I like Marisa, Jane, and Mollie for girls. (I'm guessing Mahlie is also "Molly".)

I beg of you, as a future mentor, PLEASE do not give your children screwed up name-spellings. It's bad enough that we own to pronounce/ spell them, but once your child gets out in the real world, they will own a tough time getting hired.

They did a study on name discrimination. They sent out identical resumes. Ones beside names like: Stephanie, Jennifer, Ashley and names approaching... Mahlie, Jazmyn, Dahlean.

The ones with the 1st set of names got callbacks for interviews... the second set have to keep submitting their resumes!
That's not being unique, replacing an i with a y. It's basically a bit tacky.

Alice is a classy name, but spelt like Alyce it is not. Alyss is a much better opening to spell it if you want it to be unique.

Rosamund and Wren are two of my ALL time favorite girl names. Neither one is respelled and they still haven't ever been in the top 1000.
