I am pregnant and its a boy and I need to know which dub would be best. Here are the three I have.

Congratulations. I promise I won't say they're girly. Axl makes me think of Axl Rose. Dallas... not too fruitless if you're looking for something non-traditional I guess. Nikki is cute, but thinking into the future - the spelling could cause confusion when you're filling out forms for him (doctor's bureau, school, etc.) - people may assume it's the female spelling which could do some confusion/embarassment for your boy. I think a good rule of thumb is to look into the future, when your boy is going on for 10-11 years old... how do you think he will feel in the order of his name... will he get grief on the playground because of it? I think we owe it to our children to choose their name wisely. Good luck!

Axl isn't evn a name. You could maybe return with away with using Axel as a middle name.

The only one I like is Dallas; a girl I know named her son that not long, and I think it's a sweet name.

Um, well, I assume you guys are rockers, which is cool. Just remember, your son may not have the same taste as you do and he's the one who has to live with it the rest of his life.
Out of those, Axl is best, but simply for a middle name. Dallas is a little too trendy and Nikki, although you and I probably think of Nikki Sixx surrounded by this context, most people obviously don't if they're saying it's "too girly." Children will distinctly feel the same way b/c none of them will know anything around these older bands. It could provide a rough road for your little guy. I suggest using a more "normal" name that be rock-inspired as a first name (i.e. names in your favorite songs or name of bandmates) and then giving the "cool," more blatant rocker name as the middle name. Ya know, purely in case he wants to be a legal representative or a doctor or something.

Answers: I similar to Dallas the best out of those (I love Dallas Green!).
I think Axl just automatically makes you estimate of Axl Rose, and I can imagine a lot of "oh so you're named after Axl Rose" as it's such an odd name, whereas Dallas isn't just associated with one specific creature so much!
