A pet name spelling issue?
I'm going today to buy some of those little wood letters to hang in the baby's nursery but I haven't chosen a spelling however.
The baby's name will be Lillyana or Lilliana but I can't decide on a spelling. She will go by Lilly so I wonder if I spell it Lilliana if relations will assume Lilly is spelled "Lilli"
How would you spell it, Lilliana or Lillyana?
Thanks :)
I think Lilliana flows better but how you said that those may assume how to spell the nickname is a good point.
Maybe spelling her nickname Lilli wouldn't be so discouraging. Its unique and cute.
But if you wanted it spelt Lilly then I'd shift with Lillyana.
Lilliana for sure, such a beautiful name, Lillyana looks liberal of teen momish.
people will still spell Lilly with a Y.
very nice
EDIT: to everyone who is thinking that the label could be misspelled here is an example. the name Abigail has the nickname Abby (with a Y not an I)
Gabrielle have the nickname Gabby (with a Y again)
Daniel is Danny
etc.
it does looks prettier spelled Lilliana hope i helped
Lilliana looks better
Lilliana is how i would spell it, but if u mean that Lilly would just be her description...then i don't think there have tovbe a tie in the spelling for Lilliana and Lilly...
Liliana is much prettier.
I prefer Lilliana. I would spell the nickname Lilly and I focus most people would, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Lillyana - it's different
I love it spelled Lilliana.
I don't think that general public would assume it was Lilli.
Lilliana. You can spell her soubriquet anyway you want to. Lillianna is very elegant. Lillyana looks made up.
If she's going to be Lilly...I guess you should use the "y" Is Lillyana a family name, or why not only just name her Lilly in the first place?
lillyana...its more exceptional and "y" is such a pretty letter!! it adds flavor to the spelling!! hope that helps!
I like Lillyana...I contemplate I like it better with one 'L' like this Lilyana...
Only because I approaching Lily with one 'L'.
