Adopting a child from a third world country?
Hi, my mom and I have always wanted to adopt a child from a developing country, preferably Africa. Now I know im probably gonna attain hate because everyone adopts kids from Africa in the show business industry, and we dont wanna grasp judged. We just wanna help them out, because obvs we've see things on tv such as World Vision and it would be better to give someone a chance to a better life. We're within BC, CANADA and we were wondering what agency could we go to, what we would need to be eligible to adopt a short time boy or girl from Africa!

If you truly want to help, donate money to a reputable charity. I'm not trying to be mean here, but it sounds approaching you don't want to help; you want a kid for yourself. Why would you want to take a child from his or her homeland/culture/extended family/language? You can truly help by joining the Peace Corps, donating money to African nouns charities, or by going there yourself to help clean up the river supply, etc. THAT is what really helps a child in need. Not taking him or her away from everything he/she have ever known.
Answers: Be very particularly very careful which country you adopt from. Liberia is known to enjoy adopted out kids who were stolen from their parents. Or their parents put them in an orphanage because they couldn't contemplation for them but didnt understand they were giving up their parental rights. So many times you aren't in truth helping the kids, but taking them far away from parents who desperately want them back. Liberia adoptions are on hold right now for this cause. There are very few African countries that do adoptions. Ethiopia is a popular one, but research everything you can first to make sure it is adjectives legit.
And babies DO NOT need to be adopted, like everyone think they do. There are far more people that want to adopt them than there are babies available, so often times individuals are coerced into giving up their baby. Older kids are the ones in need, close to 5 and older.
Have you mommy get you a puppy. Or a doll.
Children are not gifts or hobbies.
