my mam gave birth to a baby in the 70's and forced to distribute it up for adoption(she didnt sign any papers) i live in ireland btw unmarried and pregnant was a scandal, she was 17. she ring, to go take im back a couple of months subsequently and they said he died, in the care of his presumed adopted parents...in good health years went by (34) the family want some closure now, go for a meeting with adption board today, they just said he died, will not pass the name he was buried under.
he be not legally adopted and my mother was still his gaurdian, can they do this??
