How do adoption/ fostering agencies gross money? UK Only!?

I am keen to know how and if adoption/ fostering agencies make money?
How do they make money, do they sort profit?

No, they don't product profit.
They will get money from the government and take donations from the public.
They will also charge the prospective adopters to compensate for any fees incurred.
In the UK children are only put up for adoption by social services.
Each LA makes lb50,000 'expenses' for children put up for adoption.
They recieve zilch for keeping a family together.
Someone making money = someone will make the descision to make themselves money - NOT the descision best for the child.
Answers: They get senate funding and can fundraise themselves plus get donations from the public.
These agencies are generally charitable which means they can't be see to make a profit so all money must go into running costs including staff wages.
Adopters may be charged a small admin tax but generally this is less than lb100 but not all agencies charge a levy. Foster carers aren't charged and are paid to foster.
