Is here a place online I can request nonspecific information just about Adoption?
My eyes get really weak and give me headache when I'm researching online, so I was wondering if anyone knew a website that just sends out BASIC information, not information specified going on for one certain agency, maybe like pamphlet or a brochure etc?
We're not sure enough to visit an agency right now, that would be too impudence racking right now.
Try the Dave Thomas Foundation website (link below). It might be what you are looking for.
I would be happy to contribute you more info if I knew what you were wanting to know.

I think this is the best, most informative, and most HONEST place on the internet I've ever see for information regarding adoption. All sides of the "triad" are represented here, and that means you've got a success of personal information coming from those who have lived it (rather than those making money off of it - i.e. agencies).
One thing, though...you've get to have a tough skin, and you've got to have an interest surrounded by making sure your adoption is ethical, and truly in the best interests of the child. Otherwise, you'll get eaten alive here. There are lots of sites that won't consent to people discuss the realities in the adoption industry, but most citizens here don't bother with dishonest sites like that...most of us would prefer the truth, even if it is painful.
So, ask away. Whatever you want to know, probability are someone here knows it and can point you in the right direction.
Answers: Adoption.com might be a good place to start.
I strongly disagree that you should look for information here. I have be perusing the questions and answers here and have found that this site is dominated by people who know completely little about adoption. There are some who hate adoption but seem to be confused in the order of what it involves and there are others here who hate birthmothers because they know nothing in the region of their experiences. I have adopted myself and haven't found any opinions expressed here that reflect my experience (or the experiences of others I've met). If you want to learn about adoption, you'll have to turn somewhere else that is not so full of uninformed, irrational hatred. I guess the only entity I can take away from my time here is that I am proud I will raise my child to try to see the world through other's eyes. This is a site for small people beside small ideas and small hearts.
Adoption.com is rather plain, but they have some information about every type of adoption.
