My neice requirements to provide up her little one to us for adoption?

do we need to draw up adoption papers with an a attorney / agency or can we draw up papers on our own legally?
You want to use an attorney to make sure everything is done legally. You don't have to budge through an adoption agency.
Have your niece to speak with an attorney that specializes in ethnic group law/adoption or adoption agency in your area. Adoption is forever, but you need to breed certain all avenues are covered legally. I would never recommend anyone to try to draw up adoption papers on their own. There's passageway too much at stake including the future of an innocent baby.

Good luck to you and your niece. God bless. Source(s): My daughter placed a baby for adoption 2 years ago contained by TX.
My brother and I were adopted by our dad.
My mom is adopted by my grandparents whose birthfather is the cousin to my grandfather.
attorney, you dont want anyone to come back on you later.you can distribute over power of attorney to who ever you want thru division of family services.its good for a year.
You need an attorney and, if you want to be ethical about it, you need to provide your niece near counseling to be certain that adoption is the bst decision for her and her baby. In certainty, counseling for the mother is required in some US states.
You will need an attorney of course and the court will be involved. Usually the court will ask that DCF do a home study on your home also.
You should definitely use an attorney for the adoption process if only to receive advice. I found this site that has more info and provides a free consultation.

You necessitate to do it legally to protect yourself and the child. (BRING ON THE BOO HISS) in foster care I own seen many relatives who took the children and then three years subsequently, mom changed her mind...the kid was totally uprooted and it caused the child a lot of problems.

Happens adjectives the time, and in these cases, the parents were unfit to begin next to, but the court had no choice as there was no broadsheet trail or record.

First, be very sure this is what your niece wants and why. If it is proceed near an attorney.
You need an attorney, but not an adoption agency.

You can't "DIY" an adoption. It's too complicated.
wow do u think the little one will know who her real mom is?
Get an attorney and report through the court system. You don't want to have any issues later down the road.

Well, yeah, "boo, hiss." What about the rights of the woman bringing this child into the world? Is she allowed legal protection to hold her child with her? Is her child allowed legal protection from being separated from his/her mother? Just reckon about it from an ethical point of view. Do what is right to keep this family connections together - do everything you can to make sure that mother and child are together. Then - maybe if it does fall apart - you can at lowest possible sleep at night, for a few years, until your niece realizes that she could have be a good mom all along.

Don't know what your situation is, but if you love your niece, you would help her parent and see how much she will lose if she doesn't. Adoption loss effects generation of people, not just the 3 or 4 individuals immediately involved.

Good luck to your niece: audible range her flesh and blood child call her mommy; sharing her love for her child with her child as her child's rightful mother - not as some fake "aunty".

A lot of this is up to you and how much support you donate to keeping family together.

I'll tell you what, I absolutely detest the people responsible for separating my son and myself and that includes some of my closest relatives.
