A cross-examine going on for adoption?
I always wondered If you gave your child up for adoption,Could you get them fund or ask for it back?
No,I am not pregnant(if you`re thinking that)
If the adoption hasn't been finalized and you haven't signed away your rights then yes but if it have then no.
You can ask all you want but it will topple on deaf ears depending on the situation. There are women in other countries trying to locate their stolen children sold to Westerners and yes they are trying to get them back because they be never up for adoption.
But if both parents willingly signed the papers, and the waiting period is over, then no.
Now if a man finds out he fathered a child that be put up for adoption without his knowledge or consent, he stands a slim chance of have that adoption over turned if he chooses to parent his child. Talk to "Birthdad from Hell" about that one.
It all depends on the circumstances, but it's not easy, and it will cost you within long drawn out court battles.
Answers: I see that many people enjoy this same question or curiosity. The answer is no, unless you are within the legal time frame of shifting your mind and that time frame depends on the state the adoption has been done. For instance in my state it is 48 hours after the birth parents signed the papers. My daughter is adopt and if for some reason her birth family will want her back, I will row for her in court endlessly. I said this because even if the birth parents in an adoption try to bring the baby back, the adoptive family may be at odds to keep the baby regardless. That's why I am a strong believer that every women should parent their babies (at least they should try), because years subsequent they regret their decision. Adoption should only be consider when there are no other solutions, such as vivacity threatening issues, drug abuse, rape, etc. I hope my answer helped you :)
