about the Florida couple who ere murdered in their home---the ones who had adopt the disabled children? Some one then posted about the couple adopting kids and the special subsidy's the couple received for these kids. This be a wealthy couple according to news reports and what I read in the papers. Why are populace so quick to jump on adoptive people? What is your hold on these kind of people? I know what I think roughly speaking them.
I think the murders are heartbreaking and I'm very miserable for their family. I don't think they were targeted because they adopt; I believe they were targeted because they were wealthy.
I'm not sure what them delivery subsidies has to do with anything. No matter anyone's income stratum, if they are fostering or adopting special needs children they are entitled to and should receive a subsidy. If anyone thinks the subsidies received come close to what the actual expenses are within raising a special needs child, they are sorely mistaken.

The adoptive parents seemed to be accurate people. they had several bio kids in addendum to their adoptive children. Im sorry, but I have no issues with ap's OR foster parents who get a subsidy for special desires children. According to the media, the murdered couple were high profile and flawless members in their community. They are also VERY wealthy- BEFORE they ever adopted. They own several companies.
I don't catch how anyone, adopted or not, could have a problem with citizens who adopt special needs children and receive a subsidy. Sure there are people who foster for the money. but if ancestors honestly think people would go to the extreme of adopt special needs children to get that paycheck, especially when the ap's are semi-public figures within their town, is a bit ridiculous. I fully agree with what Randy said. No matter how great something is, somewhere, someone is waiting to ruin it. It is SO sad. I saw the blip on the word here and was just taken aback that this could happen to ancestors who had opened their hearts and their homes to so tons children.
The judgemental butt wipes who assumed that they be in it for the social security money the children received? They're butt wipes.
The adoptive parents who open their hearts and home to children who have a hard time getting adopt? They're awesome. Oh and yes, they were well off too. They owned several businesses surrounded by their community.

I have no issue next to people accepting state subsidies for adopted special needs children as long as they're used as intended-- for the children's ongoing dream therapy and special care, which is often very expensive. It's not lately discretionary income; it has a purpose. making sure special needs children have a apt quality of life without making it cost-prohibitive to adopt the children who involve homes the most.
You are not going to get rich on an adoption or foster subsidy unless you deprive the children, period. If the subsidy seems glorious, break it down per day instead of month, and I think you'll get a clearer picture.
I think it's a sad fact of our society today that no concern how good something may be there is always a division waiting to tear it down and make it into something bad.
Answers: I read this and it just was so heartbreaking. The people who kill them didn't need to kill them to rob them. They have moved out all these special kids without their parents now. Also I detestation how people say that people do it for the money (adopt special kids). If race wanted to make money there are much easier ways. These kids pilfer a lot of time and love. They are the best reward though. I quit my job (where I made way more than our subsidies for our children) to stay at home as the kids we adopt need 24 hour care. I never have regretted it but I hold been attacked that we only "do it for the money". It makes me heartbreaking that people think this but I guess I cannot change their minds. The small subsidies that we hold for our kids do not in any way cover their costs or the loss of our second income. I still know that with or short them we would find a way to make it work. Unbelievable.. this reverberatingly sadends me as iam a mother of a special needs child and they need sooo much extra love!! My heart goes out to thesis children!
