Who would want to adopt a child that can't speak their own verbal skill?

Like someone adopts a kid who speaks French when the adoptive parents speak English and they didn't know how to speak French.

I am just wondering because on my other questions relatives have basically said that they would want one like that and I wanna know who in truth would.
Take language lessons.. it's no big buy and sell really, if the kid goes to a good home, children can pick up languages faster than any developed can. I've heard 3 year olds switch back and forth from english to french all the time, and you would scarcely be able to tell their original spoken communication.
Our first adoption took place while we be working overseas in India. When our daughter came to live with us she be 8 months old. Certainly not old enough to reach a deal at that time but old enough to understand. When she cried in attendance was nothing we could say to sooth her until we have someone teach us a few words in Hindi and as soon as our daughter heard those words (essentially "its ok", "satisfactory, enough" and "pretty girl") she quieted right down and was fine.

For the rest of the time we lived in India she was listen and responding to both english and hindi. In fact, to this day she still calls an elephant a "hathi" when she see one.

Language be the last thing we were thinking nearly when it came to adoptions. Its something that can easily be worked around and that within the end both parties can benefit from if they approach it correctly.
i would do it all you have to do is educate them english and yourself their language
i dream up things could work if i were to adopt a foreign child after some time they would pick up on your language and i would pick up on their language. we would come together each other half way. if the child be just a young toddler than it is easier to teach english as they don't know much of their own poetry either. if angelina jolie can do it than anyone can.
as a parent you teach your children every second of every time weather their language is the same or not the children will learn and a loving ethnic group will only help them. language is not substantial! the fact that someone is willing to take contained by a child thats not theirs and love, teach and help build its character THATS WHATS IMPORTANT
I think that anyone who adopts a child from a non-English speaking country needs to at lowest possible be marginally conversant in the child's language. International adoption takes around a year, on the short run out. Plenty of time to learn.
Answers:    I think it is irresponsible to adopt a child when you don't speak any of their language. I don't think the parents call for to be absolutely fluent in the child's language, but they should know adequate to be able to communicate with their child.

How stressful would that be!! You are plopped down with strangers that you are immediately completely dependent on. You can't understand them and they can't understand you and they expect you to make adjectives the effort while they refuse to make any hard work to learn to speak your language. ::shudder:: I know -I- wouldn't enjoy that.
