What percentage of populace do you come up with are bullied into putting within kid up for adoption?
either by the adoption agency or adoptive parents?
also what percentage of people do you think are lied to and told they own no other choice?
i've always been kinda curious on how many those are forced or threatened into giving there child up for adoption or how many people are lied to or not told adjectives there options.
I think people that are young or look immature are approached about putting up their baby up for adoption. I hear a lot "Oh I could purely adopt him/her" Or "If you don't want him/her I'll adopt him/her" Or straight up "Can I adopt him/her" People never think about how they would feel have a stranger walked up to them and said that.
People that are confused are easy to trick because they are depending on others to help them find the right walkway. Some make that phone call alternative to abortion hot line and acquire all the information on adoption by ADOPTION agencies and not their actual options. So I have to articulate plenty of women are lied to in order to obtain their child.
I think the percentage is high. But I also believe, since the NCFA, and contained by return, the adoption industry, has done so much on their "accepted" research to find the best ways to convince a pregnant woman to surrender her child, there are many who don't realize basically how manipulative the "counseling," or lack there of, was.
I know those who demur to believe are going to doubt or try to discredit what you say, but from one who has been nearby and in the grasp of the adoption industry, I not only believe you but I know of others who have face the same situations.
It is actually very adjectives for adoption agencies to play such games with pregnant women and/or new moms. They know their tactics all right and continuously use the ones that have worked for them in the past.
Anyone who belives that a women make a fully informed, non-coerced, un-biased decision is not looking at all the facts that exist. And I truly feel that frequent of the women who claim they made their own supposive "choice" without anyone pressuring or manipulating them into anything should carefully study the materials that the adoption industry uses to convince pregnant women to surrender their child and generate it look like they are the ones in control. I think, if a majority of them read the materials they use and saw for themselves how alertly they work the women to believe adoption is a loving option made on their own, they would have a completely different view. It's the mother's choice to put the baby up for adoption, I don't see how they could get bullied into it. I don't think parents/moms would put up a little one for adoption unless they really felt that they couldn't care for it or if they really didn't want children.
I don't think anyone surrounded by their right mind would believe that that had to give up their baby "or else". The mother to be can convert her mind about putting the baby up for adoption.
I have really no idea, in this day and age. When you find the stats, please share them!
ETA: Adoption agencies are contained by the business of selling babies...it is their primary source of profit. If not for selling babies, they simply would not be in business. The pg mom is just the vessel that holds the moneymaker..that being the newborn. So the pg mom is single paid lip service by the agency. The agency could care less roughly the mother...just what she carries. They aren't all that interested contained by the aparents either...but then again you have abundantly of people owning, running and working within agencies who have adopt.so I am betting they lay their support with the PAP with cash within hand, until the deal is signed. Then it's ...NEXT!!
I do believe you and I am very sorry that you have to go thru such a heartless and ruthless experience with this agency and the nation desperate for a newborn.
I was pregnant and single 11 years ago and zilch of the sort happened to me.
Where I live, I dont think it happen much anymore, but it used to . Alot. My mother was forced to have an abortion, kicking and screaming.

Answers: I have no opinion. I am really sorry they treated you that way. That is completely wrong. I think is many woman are forced into keeping babies they don't want though. We almost adopt before. The mom wanted to put her baby up for adoption and she be sure of what she wanted. Her mother and father harassed her every day and even kicked her out because, she considered necessary to go with adoption. She was 17 and have no other place to go. They pushed her so much she finally gave in to her parents. I don't know if specifically good for a baby either.
