Would it be possible for a couple to adopt seven children?

I heard that people could keep adopt if they had the time, money, and space. No, I'm not adopting kids, I wondering about this for a different cause.

So if the couple adopting had jobs(a lawyer and a teacher), and satisfactory space, would they be allowed to adopt seven kids?(Not at the same time of course!)
Is someone looking to have their own reality show approaching.Jon & Kate??
Sure and they could even get 7 at once if they adopted a sibling group. There are couples who enjoy multiple adopted children in some cases sibling group in others non-relateecstaticven some cases where they might have both. If they can both provide for the kids that is what will be looked at. Depending on where on earth they live and where one is adopting from the criteria can be different.

Two sets of twins would not transfer anything nor the fact that they are teenagers. It will be looked at what is best for the kids.
Yes, they could adopt seven as long as there be no "problems". In some states the number would differ---in Illinois it would be six unless it was a sibling group. Same time or separate times wouldn't matter.
Yes. They would most likely enjoy to do a home study (social worker come out and evaluates the home, the couple and their relationship with each other and the kids, as well as their finances) respectively time they were ready to adopt again.
Jennifer- Jon and Kate never adopted, Kate had the baby's.
Absolutly if you can prove that you can take guardianship of all of them and love them equally then yes you can adopt as many kids as you similar to
Answers:    I know of a couple (both of them post here... one regularly) who adopted 5 children adjectives at once -- siblings -- and then took in their 5 kids' youngest two siblings when their first mom passed away.

I believe it's possible, I just don't muse it's a great idea unless it's in the best interest of the KIDS (not the adopting parents). I manifestly think that keeping siblings together is a FANTASTIC reason to adopt a large home.

Just 'collecting' children (think Brangelina) is, however, not good for anyone... not even the parents, IMHO.

So, yes, it's possible. Is it right? That depends. Source(s): Adoptee and social worker.
Well I'm sure they could. Many people own done it before.
If Jon & Kate plus 8 could then it is possible
i dont see why not.
As long as they pass the home study and meet the financial requirements, and its surrounded by the best interest of the kids, sure. It's always best for kids to stay together with their siblings. I think it's awesome when populace adopt older kids and sibling groups, especially through foster care.
