Can you be adopt if you are 18 or over?
My step mom raised me but my father or mother wouldn't let her adopt me. I don't see why but they aren't alive anymore and she still wants to do it. It would tender me a sense of security too I guess actually having a parent. I don't know. Can you do this?

My neice and nephew adopted one of their foster children. The girl ad a sibbling in another foster home but that couple did not yearning to adopt. When the young lady reached 18 yrs of age my relatives adopt her and she and they are so happy.
