A Great Adoption Agency?
im looking for a great and legal Adoption Agency for intra-natinoal and international adoptions. any suggestions?
I am adopting and using an agency within Texas who I do not recommend. I don't want to put their name in writing here, but if you want to contact me I will tell you who it is.
All I own to say is DO YOUR RESEARCH. I went blindly into this agency, letting the dream of being a parent cloud my decision. Watch out what info you get off the internet. Sometimes no news is doomed to failure news. One last thing, don't dance with the cheapest agency unless you get a really good foreboding about them. I mean really good!! You almost other get what you pay for.
Um yeah, Proud Nuna, if you know of so many great agencies, why didn't you name some fairly than just calling other people bitter?
To answer your question, I can't (and won't) instinctively advocate any adoption agencies. Why? They (especially international ones) are run to make a profit off of women and children. They exist not to provide children near homes, but to facilitate adoptions for parents who have the cash to wage their fees. There are a lot of disgusting practices used by agencies to coerce women out of their babies in order to unite the high demand for adoptable infants.

I have a suggestion-dont look for your adoption answers here-the member of the bitter possee will do all they can to tear you down...and make you quality like the bad guy for wanting to adopt..it is sad,but true.
There are several suitable adoption agencies,good luck in your research and in building your familial.
Don't let a few here discourage you.

A Great Adoption Agency is a Closed Adoption Agency.
Depends on what state you live in. Go to www.rainbowkids.com and you can look up countries and see what agency in your state works beside whom. You can also see US adoptions on there.
The only site I know of for foster thought is www.adoptuskids.org.

A friend of mine has be waiting almost 5 years now to bring his baby home from China. I don't know which agency he is going thru, but I thought I would give you the head up that China may not be the place to look right now.
