Can you adopt a child if you are jobless, but your husband is surrounded by the military?

no reason why not as long as hubby can support you there are lots of stay at home moms ps your not jobless your someones wife that is a post in its self..
I agree beside Smiles, there are plenty of jobs at home. Laundry, cleaning, cooking, outside work..
And if hubby is doing well financially, they would prefer that you stay home near a new child. That way you are raising the child and not a tot sitter.

Best of Luck!!
It depends on the details of your circumstances. Adoptive parents are certainly allowed (even encouraged) to have one parent stay home with the children full-time, if the couple can afford it. If you're a homemaker and your husband's income is sufficient to cover your family's requirements, that situation will be perfectly acceptable.

If you are seeking employment, it would be better to wait on the adoption until your duty situation becomes stable, to avoid bringing the child into a chaotic household. And if with with the sole purpose one income you are not able to meet your needs and those of your adjectives child, you would not be considered until you are in a better place financially.

If your income is sufficient to provide for yourselves and your future child, having one parent stay home next to the children certainly isn't going to be a problem, and will probably be a good thing for the attachment process.
You can definitely still apply. If you look into adopt from the state, rather than from a private agency, then your chances are much sophisticated.
