I can apprehend the appeal of getting a piercing at her age, but at 15 she is not really old enough to understand the effects and possible consequences of such a choice. She will lose respect of other adults and it could hurt her when trying to a achieve a job. Sure, she could take it out, but there will other be a hole showing on the outside of her nose even if she decides not to put it back contained by a let it heal. Anything that involves a permanent swing to the body I believe is a choice that should be made by an adult who can properly grasp the effects that decision will have on the aspects of her go. It's not you being mean or unfair, but simply you as a parent considering what is contained by her best interest and looking out for her future and asking her to wait until she is more mature and intelligence as an adult to make that decision. I'm not a parent but I wouldn't tolerate my daughter get her nose pierced. It wouldn't matter anyway because the university I go doesn't allow facial piercings. She should wait until she is 16/17.

Either agency, I don't really think I would let her. What if, in a few years, she doesn't similar to it anymore and it looks childish? Nose piercings can take up to 6 years to close up, and that is IF they close up! Sometimes they never end up doing that.

But if she did her own research, found a reputable piercing or tattoo parlor to have it done at, and paid for it herself, afterwards I'd let her. But just a stud, I'm not too sure about a ring. And it would be her nostril getting pierced, not her septum.
My cousin got hers pierced when she be 14, her navel when she was 13, and she got her first tattoo at 15.
