Which designation do you Like more?

I know I'm a little early, but just thinking ahead. My signature is Tessa. Teachers always ask if I prefer to be called Tessa or Tess. I honestly don't care though, so I articulate I don't care, but they make me choose. I don't get why though, they don't do that to everybody purely me, for some reason they must think I need a gash name ;) So anyway, which do you Like more, Tess, or Tessa?

Tess is cute but it sounds a short time ago like a nickname. My best friend's little sister is name Tess.
I would enjoy teachers call me Tessa if it was me though, it's a short plenty name as it is.
