Are boys considered more fully developed than girls when it comes to dating?
The reason I ask is because yesterday, I was reading a question that asked how outdated you think a girl should be before she starts dating. A lot of the answerers (most were parents) said they would not consent to their daughter date until she's 16 and some even said not until she's 18. There was one that said she wouldn't let her daughter date until she's in 20s.
I settled to ask a question: How old do you think a boy should be past he's allowed to date. A lot of the answerers said at least 12 and there were a few who said 13. One said 14.
Why are boys considered more grown-up when it comes to dating? Do some people think nothing impossible can happen to boys? Or that anything that could happen to a boy couldn't ever be as bad as something that could transpire to a girl?
simple answer, boys can't get knocked up.
ably girls usually get their heart broken. you know, the harsh breakups ect. and guys...aren't as emotional. and plus dads are far more protective of their little girls than they are of their sons. however girls are more ready than guys. and that is stupid to say that guys should date at 13 and girls at 16...how is that going to work? all the guys will be dating elder girls.. or none. i know people who were dating when they were surrounded by 5th grade. thats stupid. in my opinion at lowest wait til freshman year.
hell ya.
Overall girls are more mature than boys are, many race say this and they dont say it to be mean they influence it because it is the truth.
Ya... Girls are definitely more mature in MOST cases, not adjectives. There are a FEW mature boys but they are few and far between. That's why a lot of girls/women date older guys. The old age levels are quite different. I personally have to date an average of 4 years older than myself to even get remotely close to where I am. My husbands 4 years elder than I and were pretty close... He has a little passageway to go though lol =p
I think alot of people responding directly to your previous request for information were probably parents that think more... cautiously of their daughters than their sons. I would probably be aware of more comfortable letting my son date sooner than my daughter. Kids will be kids and there is alot of teen sex these days, I think that might enjoy a lot to do with it.
No way!!
Girls = More developed than boys
Boys= Physically stronger than girls
Answers: No, boys are not more mature than girls. But parents, especially fathers, have this double standard item and are more protective of girls. They tend to assume that any boy she wants to date is out to hurt her or something, and so they don't allow her to date until she is older.
It's just a double standard piece. People assume that girls are weaker and stuff.
I think both boys and girls should start dating when they are ready, not when society says they should date. This could be at almost any age.
no we are not at any age lol
Boys rarely love their girlfriends. They only want sex or a hot girlfriend as a trophy, and girls verbs their feelings with love, and it leaves them heartbroken after a breakup. So I consider girls and boys are equally immature when it comes to dating.
