Is it objective of my mom to construct me babysit adjectives the time?
For example, today at 7am she came to my dad's house, woke me up and brought me over here to watch my sister and cousin, who are both 3. She never tells me ahead of time, a short time ago drops it on me unexpectedly. I told her I already made plans today and she said "tough sh*t, I need you to babysit." I feel like I'm nought more to her then a personal babysitter. Is this fair?
i lived at home and had to take support of my sister all the time.
It isn't honourable, but your mom probably has a lot going on in her natural life. Or she needs an extra hand to take concern of the kids and it sounds like it's you. My friend is going through the same as you, because her parents are both too busy to take carefulness of her youngest brother 24/7.
You should definitely talk to your mom about it. But if that doesn't work, you could look for a babysitter around the neighborhood that would be ready to help out for little charge.
No this isn't do.
There has to be more to the story though.
Your not their mother, she is.
She needs to get her perform together.
But I'm not sure there is much you can really do.
Sorry for not really helping.
:]
I dont think any parent should expect their child to watch their other children. They are the parent its their responsibility and they can have it a chore here and within but all the time no. Regardless, your stuck which sucks =(
Unless you tell your father you dont want to go over within anymore. 50% cust or not, once you hit a certain age she can forget about it. Its your choice to see which parent you want how often you want.
Nope, but there's not alot you can do. I was surrounded by that situation as a kid, too. I hated it.
NO it isn't it's HER kid, not yours! IF she wants you to help her out, next she needs to make plans ahead of time and PAY you for your services! She is being awfully selfish and rude to your needs!
if your not getting payed leave the house a mess and see what she say
Well there has to be more framework to this, but on the surface, no it isn't really fair of her.
Answers: Like the others have answered, it's her responsibility to tilt her own children and make the time for it. It's not your responsibility, unless you're willing to do so. It's fine for you to babysit, but not to be told at the last minute. I read it's hard to work two jobs and still have someone watchfulness for your children, but that's her "tough sh*t".
People shouldn't have children, unless they can find the time to take care of them.
Have a collaborate with your dad about it. You are under 50/50 custody.
Good luck.
It's not fair. Try talking to her nearly it. Why is she gone all the time?
We may have to honor our mothers and fathers but they should also attention to detail about their children, sounds to me like your mom doesn't care if her plans interupt yours as long as your mom is thrilled. Doesn't seem fair enough to you the smallest she could do is tell you ahead of time. It's her kids and her responsibility to watch them not yours. Bring it up with your dad see if he will do something nearly it.
She is mean
